UNIT GEMMOTHERAPY
The use of buds in traditional pharmacopoeia dates back to the Middle Ages, to the era of the alchemists.
Poplar buds were used in particular for making an ointment
and those of fir for the manufacture of syrups for pectoral use.
From the Latin term gem, which means both bud and precious stone, gemmotherapy uses exclusively the fresh embryonic tissues of plants, trees and shrubs, i.e. buds, young shoots and rootlets.
All the "information" of the growing plant is contained and concentrated in the young growing tissue.
The choice of the moment of picking is very delicate and determining the therapeutic quality of the finished product.
This period can be very short, from a few hours to 2 days, and requires constant monitoring.
Concentrated extracts of fresh buds put in maceration
at the place of picking in an alcohol / agave syrup mixture
All pickings are done locally
by myself in respect of the Living.
Use of mother macerates (undiluted)
5 to 15 drops per day
